This is for mounting a Holosun K-series optic (407K/507K/EPS/EPSCarry) onto an applicable Glock®. The Holosun K-series optics use there own footprint. It's a similar footprint to the RMSc, but doesn't have to rear two recoil lugs.
Standard depth for a K-series cut is 0.125". This is a depth of 0.170" for most Glocks, 0.190" for the slim-line Glocks. This will get you a lower "height over bore", but you will still not be able to co-witness with OEM irons from Glock. This cut also uses #4-40 screw with a threaded post to get the proper amount of thread engagement, instead of a typical #6-32 threaded hole. This will be cut 0.050” in front of the OEM rear iron sight position. Depending on the width of the slide, the right screw hole may be drilled into the extractor spring bore, but will be reamed afterwards to ensure proper functionality of your extractor plunger/spring. With that said, if the red dot is removed for any reason once you receive it, note that one screw will be shorter than the other to ensure that there is proper clearance for your extractor plunger/spring.
When shipping your slide, send the complete upper assembly, minus the barrel and recoil spring. This will allow us to verify the fit of the red-dot against the other components (mainly the extractor depressor plunger). If you send the slide with new iron sights, we'll install them for free. DO NOT SEND THE LOWER PART OF YOUR FRAME.
