This is for mounting a Aimpoint Acro P2 optic onto an applicable Glock®. The Aimpoint Acro P2 uses its own proprietary footprint. There are optics that use simaler footprints, like the Steinter MPS. If you have something similar, please email me here so I can make a new website product for your optic.
A standard Acro cut will be cut to sit fluch on top of your slide, 0.050” in front of the OEM rear iron sight position. This cut can be cut lower if the rear iron sight is removed or relocated in front if the optic. I have yet to cut one in this configuration which is why there's no photos or information. If this option is selected. I will work with you directly so we can give you the best service possible.
Due to the amount of exposed material, It's highly recomended that you cerakote your slide. Glocks are made of carbon steel and will rust without proper maintenance. If requested, we will cold blue the cut, but PLEASE don't confuse this with a proctetive coating. Cold blue is simply cosmetic.
When shipping your slide, send the complete upper assembly, minus the barrel and recoil spring. This will allow us to verify the fit of the red-dot against the other components (mainly the extractor depressor plunger). If you send the slide with new iron sights, we'll install them for free. DO NOT SEND THE LOWER PART OF YOUR FRAME.
Please send your red dot with your slide. From our experience, every red dot is a little unique. We want to ensure you get the best possible fit.
