What's Better, Direct Milling or Optic Ready?

Some of the guys in the CZ Forum were asking for some content, so I made this video about direct milling because it's question comes up a lot.

I hold some pride in maintaining tight numbers, but at the end of the day I'm not sure how tight these numbers really need to be. In most cases, you'll be shooting around 50 feet or less, not at 150-600 yards. At those longer distances that type of error wouldn't be tolerated, but realistically for most pistol shooters, an optic ready pistol will be suitable for the average consumer. they will generally have the time and resources to re-sight there optic if it needs to be removed for any reason.

What I do know is if I'm going to spend money on this type of service, I'd like to know I'm getting the best bang for my buck.

I mention at the end of the video that every optic is different, which requires fine tuning. This is an adjustment to the footprint on the slide, not on the optic itself.
